How To Use Butter Face Mask For Skin Whitening?

Butter Face pack is very easy to make as they form a good base. Just take a pan with butter in it. Heat the pan on a low flame till it begins to melt. Then you can add the other ingredients – olive oil, avocado, honey, banana, etc. as per your skin texture and mix it well.

This mixture is to applied on the face and neck areas after it cools down.

1. Butter, Honey and Olive Oil Mask:

Things you will Need:

All you need is one teaspoon each of butter, Honey and Olive oil.

Method to Apply:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl well.
  • Make it into a smooth paste and apply evenly all over your face and neck.
  • As you are applying it, use your fingertips to gently massage and spread the butter mask.
  • Leave it on for about 20 – 30 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.

How often You Should do This:

This mask can be applied daily before bathing. It leaves the skin supple and radiant all through the day. Alternatively it can also be used at bed time to clear your face from all the dullness and dryness caused due to pollution.

Why This Works/Benefits:

Butter is a very good moisturizer whereas honey works as an exfoliator. Olive oil makes the skin rejuvenate as it is abundant with anti-aging oxidants.

Be sure that you take raw honey and virgin olive oil as they work best and are without any chemicals.

Things you will Need:

The ingredients for this face mask are – 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter (makkhan), 1 strawberry (large) that is mashed, 1 tablespoon lemon juice (if your skin is oily) or 1 egg yolk (if you have a dry skin) or ½ a cucumber (for normal skin)

Method to Apply:

  • Mix the above ingredients into a paste.
  • Choose the lemon juice or egg yolk or the cucumber as per the texture of your skin. Wash you face with a mild soap.
  • Apply the mask all over your face and neck evenly and leave it for about 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Wipe it off gently with a soft towel dipped in warm water.
  • Pat it dry and apply your choice of moisturizer.

How often You should do This:

It can be used once a week. It starts giving good results within a short period of time.

Butter moisturizes the skin. Strawberry tends to remove the excess sebum on the skin as it is acidic in nature. Face masks with strawberry are good for oily skin as they are rich in vitamin C.

Just take 1 cup of avocado (scooped out) and one cup of Shea butter.

Method to Apply:

  • Take a pan and heat the shea butter along with the avocado over low fire.
  • Keep stirring the mixture till it gets thick and creamy.

  • Keep it on for about 15 minutes and wash off with warm water.

For this face mask you need –one tablespoon of cocoa butter, one tablespoon of olive oil and just a pinch of ginger paste.

Method to Apply:

  • Mix well and the above into a paste.
  • Apply well covering your face and neck.
  • Leave it on for about 15 – 20 minutes and wash off with warm water or wipe with a towel dipped in warm water.

How often you should do This:

This mask can be tried on daily at bed time or even in the morning before leaving for work.

Olive oil and Cocoa Butter moisturize your skin. The ginger paste aids in removing the dirt and grime.
