1. Honey Cleanser:

Honey is suited to all skin types. Make sure to remove make up before you apply honey into your face. Start by dampening your face with some lukewarm water and then pour some honey into the palm of your hand. If the honey is too thick, dilute by adding a little water. Massage it into your skin in circular motions. Leave it on for five minutes before washing it off. Pat dry your face.

You need to mix two types of oil before applying it on your face. So take a bowl and pour a teaspoon of castor oil along with 1 ½ teaspoons of any oil such as jojoba, grape seed, sunflower seed, apricot kernel, sweet almond or avocado. Apply this cleanser before bedtime by massaging it into your skin. Then soak a small towel into hot water and cover your face with it for a minute. Repeat it till all the oil is soaked in. Wipe your face with the towel when done.

3. Oatmeal Cleanser:

Mix together some finely-ground oats and finely ground almond meal. Add your choice of liquid such as water, milk, yogurt, lemon juice, rose water, honey, glycerin, etc. and mix well. You may add a few drops of essential oils like rosemary, peppermint, lavender, chamomile essential oils. Dampen your face and massage the mixture into your skin using your fingers. Wash it off with cool water and pat dry your face.

Blend together two slices of peeled apple, ½ cup of plain yogurt, ½ tablespoon of olive oil and ½ tablespoon honey in a food processor. Apply the mixture into your face and leave it on for five minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

Take a bowl and stir together ½ cup of rolled oats, ¼ cup of fresh lemon juice, ¼ cup of water and ½ tablespoon honey. Dampen your face and massage it well into your skin for thirty seconds before washing it off with lukewarm water.

Make a smooth paste by blending ½ cup of plain yogurt, ½ of a diced medium cucumber and five chopped mint leaves in a blender. Apply the paste into your damp face and let it rest for five minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. This cleanser is great for normal skin.
