1. Multani Mitti and Rosewater:

Multani mitti and rosewater are singularly very good cleansers for the skin so when combined together they perform an excellent cleansing action that is essential for oily skin. The preparation is simple enough with just few drops of rosewater required to be added to the dry powder and made into a paste. The powder is easy to make by just drying neem and tulsi leaves and then grinding them in a grinder. Mix the concoction with the fuller’s earth and add some rosewater to get the desired consistency. 9. Multani Mitti and Tomato:

The mix of multani mitti with the juice of a tomato or a puree works as a natural scrub to clean the skin’s pores of all the dirt and blackheads. Leave the paste on for not more than 15 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water for squeaky clean skin.

10. Mixed with potato pulp, honey, clove powder:

This is a wonderful mixture that you can add to the 4 tbsp of Multani mitti and these will be added in the ratio of 2 tbsp of potato pulp, 2 tbsp of honey and half a tbsp of clove powder. You can get this powder from market or you can make this at home by dry roasting a handful of these. You can then mix these up with either the excess juice from potatoes or use some slightly cold water. Then you can apply this for about 20 minutes. The benefits of using this mixture are that the potato helps to clear out blemishes that can be by the left over allergy, the honey fights bacteria and the clove also helps control excess sebum and keeps the bacteria in check.

11. Mixed with lemon juice and curd:

Curd and lemon juice both has citric acid which clears the blemishes or scars that you may be having. It s also helpful in case you want to make the complexion improve as oily surface people has the problem of their face getting clogged with an excess of dirt and grime. It also has bleaching action and can be normally helpful. Use 4 tbsp of heaped fullers to half a cup of beaten water separated sour curd. Make sure this is not curd mixed with sugar. Add 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice. Mix this well and apply for 20 minutes. Wash off with plain water.

12. Mixed with neem leaves, honey and cloves:

You can make a paste of a handful fresh leaves and then use some water to grind them to a paste. This should make about 2 table spoons of paste. To this add about 4 tbsp of clay powder and these are usually mixed with other herbs as well. However, you will be making this as a separate paste and therefore we will be adding the fresh leaves to fight any problems. Now you should add some honey to this about 2 tbsp. Some people have reactions when too much sugary agent is applied topically on the rash prone area.

So usage of honey is according to your suitability. You can use in less quantity as well because honey after all contains anti bacterial agents. You will be using half a teaspoon and not more of clove powder. It is easy to make this at home. Dry roast a handful in a pan and then grind these to a powder. Keep it in an air tight container and you can use half a teaspoon to any paste to make it useful. Adding more can give you burning sensation especially if you have broken zits or inflammation. Apply for at least 30 minutes or 20 minutes and then wash of using warm water.

13. Mixed with turmeric and gram flour:

You can add 4 tbsp of fuller’s powder to ½ tbsp of turmeric powder and 5 tbsp of gram four. It will be your choice to use any diluting agent to this. If you have no problem or reaction if you use buttermilk then that can be a good thing to use in this to make a paste out of it. If you do not want to use any milk type of thing into this then you should simply use slightly cold plain water. Make a non dripping mixture with this. Then you can use this and wear this on for at least 20 minutes before it starts to get dry. Now you can wash this off using plain water and then you can use a toner. Usually a moisturizer is also good if you can use with this. Otherwise simply tone and leave it as it is. If you have any allergic reaction or bumps then turmeric will soothe it and also make the infection stay in control. The gram flour is a deep cleansing agent and so it the clay mixture.

14. Mixed with mint paste and plain water:

Mint is known to soothe the skin. You can find these easily in your market and you can buy a bunch of fresh leaves and store these up in your freezer. These are quite helpful when you usually topically apply these and you will benefit from this. These are quite cheap as well. You can also buy powdered form because these are generally out into a lot of dishes and cooking recipes. You can buy any form which is more easily available to you and is more convenient.

In case you are not suffering from any kind of problem like bumps or sensitivity, you can apply these simply with fullers about 4 tbsp and mint past like 4 tbsp or soaked mint powdered in same quantity and mix these up with enough plain water. You can also use slightly cold water. That is also more effective. Cold water and the leaves both will be helpful in soothing your surface. You can then apply this mixture on your face for about 20 minutes or 15 minutes and if you feel you need more, then you should remove this and reapply some more. For the time you have applied a portion of it, keep the rest in the bowl in the fridge. This will keep it cooled. You can keep this applied on cleansed surface for about 20 minutes. Then you should wash this off with cold water or plain water. For reapplication, do not splash cold water before you have applied the rest of the amount of the mixture.

    Good post.. thnku for sharing.. i now have more options to treat these never ending skin probs… i only knew about rose water mixed with multani mitti..which i use regularly.. quite useful.,..

    Thanks for the post. Multanimitti is just amazing.. I have oily skin with open pores and blemishes. I tried multani mitti with rose water. It removed excess oil and tightened my pores. After my first try i felt huge difference. I will be using this every week here after
