How To Do Shiva Linga Mudra:

  1. You need to firstly sit in half lotus or any easy and comfortable position. Make sure that you are sitting on a light mat or light carpet. This will prevent the radiations coming out of the floor.
  2. Many experts have pointed out that floor radiations can actually serve as an obstacle in doing the mudra.
  3. Finally, you can leave your eyes open and close as per your choice. But with closed eyes, you can mediate and concentrate better.
  4. Now, you need to make the shape of a bowl with your left hand.
  5. You need to place your right hand by making a fist with the right hand on the top of the left hand with the thumb extended upwards.
  6. You need to hold the fingers of your left hand closer.
  7. Position your hands gently at the level of your abdomen with your elbows pointing outward and very slightly forward.

This shiva linga mudra exercise is very easy to do. You can do it for as long as 4-5 minutes a day. You can practise this at least for 3-4 times, there is no time foundation. You can do this linga mudra yoga pose either in evening or in morning time.
