Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum is located on Kasturba Road, Bangalore and is very close to the famous Cubbon Park. It is a science museum named after the renowned Indian engineer Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, which houses artefacts of industrial, scientific and technological models. This is the best museum in Bangalore for adults to visit and also an excellent place for kids to learn the basics of science. Government Museum in Bangalore was founded in Mysore by Surgeon Edward Balfour in 1865, which also makes it one of the oldest museums in India. The museum is divided into 18 galleries which have sections for geological and archaeological objects. It stores paintings, terracotta, old jewellery, and coins all from the times of the kingdoms and their reign. Two inscriptions of the Hal midi and Kannada had been excavated in 450 AD.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Aerospace Museum is the oldest aerospace museum in India. It is a part of HAL Heritage Center and Aero Space Museum and is a help to all those who study Aeronautic Engineering, as the students need to know how air machines need to be dealt with. Kempegowda Museum is one of India’s recent museums. It had been established in honour of Yelahanka chieftain Kempegowda who had founded the city of Bangalore. The building has been coloured in the traditional colours of military quarters, red and white. The first floor has a gallery of photographs. There are wooden stairs which take the visitors to Kempegowda’s history. It also has paintings of forts, temples, and inscriptions of early Bangalore.
