All the bananas and milk you had consumed on Day 4 of the GM diet plan can leave you with lessened appetite and hunger pangs. So, you can prepare your mind to eat small portions of meat, preferably beef as per the original GM Diet plan to get protein and fiber. GM Diet – Day 5 Exercises:
Today, you have consumed good amounts of protein and carbs. So, you may feel the urge to burn them over a workout. Unlike the first four days, on which your body was still coping up with the changes, Day 5 can set the right mood for a slightly intense exercise program. You can hit the gym, do some cardio, strengths and cross fit. This must be done within the limits of your body capacity.
If you feel tired or lethargic, take up some easy exercises like yoga, running, jogging etc. instead.
Foods to Avoid on Gm Diet – Day 5:
Let us look into the list of foods to say NO to on the fifth day of GM Diet Plan:
- Vegetables other than tomato
- Dairy other than cottage cheese, yoghurt/curd
- Fruit Juices
Why this Works?:
The logic behind GM Diet-Day 5 is to restore normalcy to your body slowly. During the first four days of the diet program, your body is deprived of protein and iron. They are regained through beef and brown rice. Tomatoes contain lycopene which helps in removing toxins from the body and supporting better functionality of your liver.
How Will You Feel At The End of GM Diet – Day 5?:
Today, you are likely to feel much better after consuming staple foods like meat, rice etc. You will also regain your appetite and experience high energy levels from all the protein consumed today. The fiber from tomatoes can boost your digestion, so you will not have bloating or constipation (ideally) today. Symptoms like headache, lethargy, in-activeness etc. will go away and you will notice that your body is getting transformed slowly, but effectively!
Day 5 of GM Diet plan is done! Before hitting the bed today, think of the success you will achieve by the end of the program. This can motivate you to get up early tomorrow with loads of excitement to face yet another day. By the way, Day 6 has plenty of good foods to offer. So, stay happy!
