Rajiv Gandhi Park is situated in the entrance of Vijayawada and is one of the cities very popular places of visit. The park is established and maintained by the Municipal Corporation of the city. The park offers properly cut grasslands and trails where people walk on, it is like a mini zoo created and aquarium which has artificial animals created, there are musical fountains open in the evenings. They also have educative part to the park where people get to know about dinosaurs and extinct animals. They have gun shootings shown, there is a jeep present there for children to ride on, there is a cricket zone, bungee trampoline and even a canteen.

2. Dr.B.R. Ambedkar & Raghavaiah Park:

What makes the popular parks on Vijayawada famous is its uniqueness in equipment’s which they portray beautifully. The Dr.B.R. Ambedkar & Raghavaiah Park has its main attraction in the hanging bridge which is connecting two parks of the park on either side of the canals. They have created amusement equipment’s like swings and slides which have been made for the children.

3. K.L.Rao Park:

Parks are usually made for the people to walk, exercise and for the children to play and ride on their objects of amusements. K. L Rao Park in Vijayawada has changed these definitions by adding more things to it. Mahatma Gandhi Park is the oldest park in Vijayawada. As we can see in the picture, at the entrance we have a blue gate of grills with the name written in the hoarding along with a slanting roof of stones. The park has a lot of trees and flowers and paths for people to walk. The park also consists of a gym and is quite popular.

5. G.V.S Sastry Park:

G. V. S Sastry Park is situated near Satyanarayanapuram in Vijayawada. The park has been done up with a lot of ideas which makes people and tourists get attracted to it all the more. in the picture below we notice that there is a broad path to walk and on two sides of it, it has properly manicured plants and some artificially created. There are figures made on bricks and in the interior it is full of different sorts of trees. There is a ‘skating ring’ which the children are very fond of.

6. Tangirala Veera Raghavaiah Park:

Tangirala Veera Raghavaiah Park is a park in Vijayawada has been created in a way to take us back to the old days as it looks like some sort of a palace or a fort. On the outside it has been painted red and in between two bricks we can see white as well. It tells us stories of the past tales which have been created with different statues.
