How to Use Coconut Oil for Dark Circles Around Eyes?

Here are a few home-remedies that will help you to cure dark circles at a lesser cost and as per your time convenience.

How To Use Coconut Oil To Remove Dark Circles:

1. Coconut Oil with Evening Primrose Carrier Oil:

How to Make:

Mix well – 3 to 4 drops of coconut oil for dark circles under eyes with 2 drops of Evening Primrose oil, in a bowl.

How to use:

Use this mixture, with coconut oil for under eye circles, daily at night before going to bed.

How to Apply:

Dab a few drops of oil on the affected areas and massage gently with the fingertips. Leave it overnight and wash off with normal water in the morning.

2. Coconut Oil with Turmeric Paste:

How to Make:

Take 1 inch of raw turmeric and make a smooth paste out of it. In case you do not have raw turmeric, you can also use turmeric powder. Add half spoon of coconut oil to the paste and blend well.

How to use:

Use this paste of turmeric & coconut oil for dark circles around eyes, daily for 15 minutes, preferably at night before going to bed.

How to Apply:

Clean the area around the eyes. Apply a thick coat of the paste made out of turmeric and coconut oil on the dark circles. Leave it for about 15 – 20 minutes and wipe it off with cotton. After 30 minutes, wash with normal water. This combination of coconut oil good for dark circles.

3. Coconut Oil with Almond Oil:

How to Make:

Take equal quantity of coconut oil and almond oil in a bowl and mix it well

How to use:

Use it daily at night time to know the benefits of coconut oil for black circles.

How to Apply:

Cleanse the area around the eyes using a mild soap or cleansing milk. Apply this mixture of coconut oil on dark circles as well as on the eyelids. Leave it on and wash off in the morning with normal water.

4. Coconut Oil, Potato, and Cucumber:

How to Make:

Peel a medium sized cucumber and potato and cut them into small pieces. Mix the potato and cucumber pieces into a smooth paste with the help of a blender. Coconut oil is to be used separately after the paste.

How to use:

Use it daily at night for 2 weeks. Thereafter, it can be repeated on alternate days.

How to Apply:

Apply the paste on the dark circles and upper eyelid. Gently massage in a circular motion, with the fingertips. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash with cold water and pat dry. Then take a few drops of coconut oil on your fingertips and massage similarly as you did with the paste. Leave the oil overnight and wash off with cold water on the next morning.

5. Coconut Oil with Chickpea Flour, Lemon Juice, and Honey:

How to Make:

Blend together 1 teaspoon of warm coconut oil, honey, and milk and lemon juice. To this mixture add 2 teaspoons of turmeric and 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour (besan) and blend till it becomes a smooth paste.

How to use:

Use it thrice a week before going to bed at night for best results.

How to Apply:

Clean the area around the eye with cleansing milk or raw milk. Apply the paste under the eye on the dark circle and then massage gently with the finger-tips in a circular motion. Leave it for about 20 – 30 minutes and then wash with normal water and pat it till dry.
